A kilometre on foot takes its toll…
Thursday, 1 August: it’s time to count the times each team has walked (triathlon event).
Friday morning, 2 August: In the kitchen, Mathilde, our cook, cooks up a menu from 5 continents: she herself has concocted the dishes! In the courtyard of our house, we’re busy. At 11 o’clock, everyone is there: the sisters of the community, the employees and some close neighbours.
Let the closing party begin! It was Nathalie, our coordinator, who opened the festivities with a speech, gave the names of the winners and made the symbolic gesture of extinguishing the flame that was disappearing before our very eyes.
After the awards ceremony, Nathalie was presented with a vermeil medal for all the energy she had put into making the event a success. Thank you, Nathalie!
