The CHASKA Institution and its activities

CHASKA is a community education centre that trains parents and young people in a number of areas: animal husbandry, agriculture and life skills. CHASKA also provides educational support for children.

This year, we were visited by young volunteers from France who, with a great deal of generosity, built a beautiful classroom to enable the children to do their homework without difficulty. In addition, this year we went with the coordinator to visit the children’s families, which gave us the opportunity to meet the parents and talk to them.
Christmas with CHASKA.  The children were delighted to celebrate Christmas in their beautiful classroom.  In the presence of parents and invited guests, the children showed off their talents with dances and carols. For the occasion, the Headmistress and friends from CHASKA prepared chocolate with panneton°, which we shared together, because Christmas is all about sharing.

The headmistress took the opportunity to thank all those who are working – such as the volunteers, the friends of CHASKA and the Daughters of the Holy Spirit – so that CHASKA can continue this wonderful project of love and solidarity with those in need.
